With a strong foundation in compliance, legal research, and business operations, Matt plays a vital role in supporting the firm’s integrity, efficiency, and strategic initiatives.
Working at Centerpoint:
Matt leads firm-wide compliance functions, regulatory filings, and internal policy management. He oversees business continuity and cybersecurity planning, manages the MyCenter client portal, and reviews all client-facing materials for accuracy and compliance. Clients often rely on his research and detail-oriented support, particularly in areas such as product due diligence, class action filings, and regulatory matters.
Background:
Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas at Austin. After deciding on a move to the Northeast, he attended New England School of Law in Boston where he received his Juris Doctor. Matt came to Centerpoint after working as an attorney and obtained FINRA series 7 and 24 licenses. Additionally, Matthew holds the IACCP® designation, which signals recognition of an advanced knowledge and skill level for investment adviser compliance professionals, and he is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
